The Erasmus+ program provides teaching staff the opportunity for teaching abroad and for non-teach staff to acquire additional training abroad. To participate in this program, Effectus staff must take part in a competition. Full-time staff and contract teaching associates are eligible to register for the competition. The Committee for International Cooperation will then rank the applicants based on the criteria of the competition. Depending on the results and available resources, staff can obtain mobility with the financial support of the school, or as a zero-grant candidate(a candid without financial support). Financial support is provided as a per diem and as a lump sum to cover travel costs. Staff mobility can be for a minimum of 2 days and a maximum of 60 days. A condition for registration for the competition is a letter of invitation from a partner institution. The criteria for selecting candidates is based on the quality of the teaching plan, i.e. a training plan, and the future benefit to Effectus.
Teaching mobility (STA) is carrying out instruction of at least 8 hours per week or a shorter period depending on the length of the stay.
Training (STT) encompasses several activities:
- job shadowing – following the work of a colleague at a foreign institution and taking part in the professional activities r
- attending structured courses, workshops, language training directed at the professional needs of the participant.
